Demi Lovato Wants Music and Film to Stop Glamorising Drugs

As news of Philip Seymour Hoffman's death spread quickly, many celebrities also paid their tributes. One of them was Demi Lovato.

But unlike many others, she was brave enough to face and talk about the disease that has taken too many lives already. "I wish more people would lose the stigma and treat addiction as the deadly and serious DISEASE that it is. Drugs are not something to glamorize in pop music or film to portray as harmless recreational fun," she wrote on Twitter.
